Thank you for visiting StephanieH Photography. Your privacy matters, and this page explains what information I collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have.

1. Who I Am

I’m Steph, owner of StephanieH Photography based in Oahu, Hawaii. You can reach me at Steph@StephanieHPhotography.com with any questions about this policy or your personal information.

2. Information I Collect

I collect the following types of information when you contact me, book a session, or place a print order:

Contact information: name, email address, phone number
Booking details: names and ages of children or family members (to help me prepare for your session)
Print order information: mailing address for print deliveries
Session details: any information you choose to share through questionnaires or emails
Payment information: I do not collect or store your card details. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

3. How Your Information Is Used

I use your information to:

Respond to inquiries
Confirm and manage bookings
Send invoices, contracts, reminders, and updates / tips to prepare for your session
Deliver digital galleries and print orders
Contact you about any issues with your order or session
Send occasional newsletters and photography-related updates (IF you opted in)

I do not sell or share your personal information for marketing.

4. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. I do not see or store your full payment card details at any time. Stripe may collect and store payment information as described in their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies & Website Tracking

My website is hosted through Squarespace, which uses cookies for basic site functionality, security, and analytics. These cookies may collect non-personal information such as device type, browser, and general site usage.

I do not use additional tracking tools, remarketing ads, or third-party advertising cookies.

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings.

6. Email List & Marketing

You will only receive marketing or newsletter emails if you:

Sign up through my website’s pop-up freebie
Check “yes” on your pre-session questionnaire
Or voluntarily opt in through another form

I send occasional emails that may include updates, tips, behind-the-scenes info, or photography-related newsletters. This is usually no more than two or three emails per month. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email or by emailing me directly.

I do not sell or share email lists.

7. When Information May Be Shared

I only share your information when it’s necessary to provide a service you requested, such as:

Stripe for payment processing
A print lab or mailing service to fulfill and ship print orders
Squarespace as my website host

These providers use your information only as needed to complete the requested service.

8. Your Rights

You can contact me any time at Steph@StephanieHPhotography.com to:

Request a copy of your personal information
Ask for corrections or updates
Request deletion of your information (unless I need it for legal or tax purposes)
Unsubscribe from emails

9. Data Security

I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. While no system is perfect, I use reputable service providers (Squarespace, Stripe, and my print labs) that have strong security practices.

10. International Visitors

My business primarily serves clients in the United States and Canada. If you are visiting from another region, please know your information may be stored or processed in the U.S.
